The Benefits of English for Spanish-speaking People English is the most widely spoken language in the world. English is the language of commerce, diplomacy, computen science and half of the internet. Unfortunately, in Latin America, few students graduate from high school dominating it, which limits their opportunities to participate in a globalized economy.  Some of the countries in the region are making changes to improve English teaching.
